Apple iPhone 6 Could Arrive As Early As May 2014

Upstream supply chain sources claim that Apple might introuce the iPhone 6 much earlier than their usual yearly ritual. Word is that a "bigger" iPhone might arrive as early as May, 2014. Also, the chipset inside the phone will be manufactured using a new 20nm process, which is a step up from the Apple A7 chip being built on Samsung's 28nm node.

We don't have many details to spare as of yet, but the "big" iPhone might sport a 5-inch class display. It is also possible that we see a new iPhone (like iPhone 5C, we might see an iPhone 6D, just kidding) name carved out for the phablet category, with the usual iPhone 6 (iPhone 5S successor) still planned for a September, 2014 release.

While it is too early to say anything, one thing's for sure. Apple is indeed working on an iPhone phablet (if not a phablet, at least a 4.5"+ sized display), in addition to a 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro. 2014 might be the year that Apple decides to go "big," quite literally.
