Since then there has been no looking back.



The comeback

Some may argue that during the 80s and 90s, stilettos had taken a backseat and women were seen wearing wedges, clogs and block heels. But the good news is that in 2000, slender and sleek heels made a comeback and are still very much in vogue. Movies such as Sex And the City and The Devil Wears Prada have made stilettos even more popular.

While every coin has two sides, stilettos may be sultry and sexy, but they aren’t quite comfortable and come with their share of foot problems, but, well, when did fashion become practical, right? Besides, stilettos have been in style for so long for a reason. Pick a pair and you are instantly transformed from drab to diva. Wearing stilettos will help you improve your posture and alter your gait to a hip-swaying strut. Whether it is strappy, pumps or pointed toes, the style may change but the heels are here to stay!
